DV8 Outsider Bowling Ball

DV8 Outsider Bowling Ball

One ball. Multiple reactions. Built for no-thumb bowlers.

Take control of your ball motion with the DV8 Outsider Bowling Ball, featuring DV8's innovative, patent-pending No Thumb Core Technology. Engineered specifically with no-thumb bowling styles in mind, the Outsider delivers exceptional versatility by allowing bowlers to customize their ball reaction through different drilling layouts.

Unlike traditional bowling balls designed primarily around conventional core specifications, the DV8 Outsider focuses on providing a wider range of performance options. With a benchmark drilling layout, it delivers a dependable, versatile reaction across a broad range of lane conditions. Adjust the layout, and the Outsider can produce dramatically different ball motion characteristics without requiring a different bowling ball.

For bowlers seeking a sharper, more angular reaction, taller pin positions and stronger drilling layouts create increased movement downlane. When control becomes the priority, weaker layouts with the pin positioned closer to the fingers produce a smoother, more manageable reaction that helps control friction and keep the ball in play.

Whether you're looking for a reliable benchmark reaction or a more specialized ball motion, the DV8 Outsider provides the flexibility to match your equipment to your game.

Performance Benefits

Patent-Pending No Thumb Core Technology

The DV8 Outsider features specialized core technology developed to expand drilling and performance possibilities for no-thumb bowlers. Rather than focusing exclusively on traditional core numbers, its design emphasizes the ability to create different ball reactions through layout selection.

Versatile Benchmark Performance

With a benchmark drilling layout, the Outsider delivers a reliable, versatile motion suitable for a broad range of lane conditions. This provides bowlers with a dependable starting point for building their desired reaction.

Stronger Layouts for Increased Angularity

Taller pin positions and stronger drilling configurations allow the Outsider to produce a sharper, more angular move downlane. These layouts are designed for bowlers seeking a more pronounced directional change through the pins.

Weaker Layouts for Enhanced Control

Positioning the pin closer to the fingers creates a smoother, more controlled ball reaction. This option is particularly useful when managing friction and maintaining a predictable breakpoint becomes essential.

Multiple Reactions From One Bowling Ball

The Outsider gives no-thumb bowlers the flexibility to select a drilling layout that matches their preferred ball motion. From smoother control to sharper angularity, the ball's performance can be tailored during the drilling process.
