MOTIV Forge Fuel

The MOTIV Forge Fuel brings a new level of continuation to the high-performance Forge line, giving bowlers the traction and control needed for heavier oil without sacrificing energy through the pins. Combining the proven Detonator Symmetric Core with the new Leverage MXT Solid Reactive coverstock, the Forge Fuel is designed to create a strong, stable midlane read followed by dependable continuation.

At the center of the Forge Fuel is the Detonator Core. Its low RG helps the ball rev early enough to establish traction in heavier oil, while its high differential generates the flare needed to continue driving through the pocket. This combination creates a strong and predictable motion when lane conditions become demanding.

The biggest evolution comes from the Leverage MXT Solid Reactive coverstock. Engineered to be more responsive than the Leverage MXC cover found on the Subzero Forge, Leverage MXT maintains the traction expected from a heavy-oil solid while providing increased continuation downlane. An aggressive 1000-Grit Laser-Verified finish gives the Forge Fuel substantial out-of-box traction.

Built into the coverstock is Duramax Technology, designed to help the ball maintain its surface characteristics longer. This promotes consistent traction from shot to shot while helping smooth out lane transition. The result is a Forge designed to retain the midlane control associated with the Subzero Forge while providing noticeably more continuation through the pins.

Performance by Bowler Type

• Speed Dominant: A strong, smooth symmetric option for fresh oil. The Forge Fuel provides early traction and enough shape to help speed-dominant players on heavier conditions.
• Balanced: Designed for moderate-to-heavy oil when a Jackal Onyx is too strong or forward, but benchmark options such as the Primal Ghost and Venom series are too clean.
• Rev Dominant: Best suited for very high-volume patterns and severe wet/dry conditions. Surface adjustments can expand its versatility, including adding shine for easier length on more moderate volumes.
