Surrounding the core is the new Xplode Pearl AP26 coverstock, featuring Adhesion Promotion (AP26) technology. This advanced cover formulation increases the ball's contact footprint, creating additional traction in areas of the lane where traditional pearl covers can struggle to maintain control.

Rather than using a polished finish, the Fusion Pearl comes prepared at 4000 Abralon. This gives the cover enough traction to establish a reliable midlane read while still preserving energy for a strong move off the friction.
