What This Service Is:

Our 1-Hole Drilling service adds a single, professionally measured and drilled hole to your bowling ball. This is most commonly used to add a thumb hole to a ball that currently has only finger holes, but it can also be used for specialty adjustments such as:

• Adding a thumb hole for improved control on spare balls

• Adding a finger hole when converting a ball to fingertip or conventional grip

• Correcting or updating a single hole that no longer fits comfortably

• Creating additional grip options

This service includes a full precision fitting to ensure the new hole matches your hand, release style, and comfort needs.

What’s Included:

1. Professional Fit Evaluation

We measure your hand using pro-level tools such as:

• Span gauges

• Digital calipers

• Pitch and angle tools

• Fitting balls

We can either:

• Create a new custom fit, or

• Match the fit from an existing ball you already love.

2. Precision Drilling

Using industry-standard milling and drilling equipment, we create a clean, accurate hole aligned with:

• Your hand shape

• Your pitch requirements

• The intended ball motion

3. Finishing & Comfort Work

The hole is beveled, smoothed, and shaped for maximum comfort and clean release.

Turnaround Time:

• Same-day or next-day, depending on store volume.
  (Single-hole drilling is typically quick and efficient.)
