Vexed Solid – The Perfect Follow-Up to Evil Eye

What if the Evil Eye could be even better? Radical asked that same question—and the result is the Vexed Solid, the newest addition to the Top-Shelf line. Designed as the asymmetrical counterpart to the Evil Eye, the Vexed takes the proven technology that made its predecessor a standout and pushes performance to the next level.

The Vexed core features an RG of 2.49, a total differential of .036, and an intermediate differential of .012, creating an ideal 3:1 differential ratio—widely considered the sweet spot for balanced asymmetrical performance. This design allows the Vexed’s drilling numbers to pick up right where the Evil Eye left off, giving bowlers and pro shop operators familiar yet expanded layout possibilities.

Like the Evil Eye, the Vexed uses core-protrusion drilling technology, where performance is influenced by drilling into the core structure and factoring in thumb placement. However, the updated asymmetrical design creates more motion down lane, giving the Vexed a stronger and more dynamic finish.

During testing, bowlers reported increased overall hook and a sharper backend reaction, thanks to the stronger core design paired with the upgraded HK22C+ coverstock. The result is a ball that delivers added downlane power while maintaining the versatility Radical’s Top-Shelf line is known for.

Together, the Vexed and the Evil Eye form the ultimate one-two punch, giving bowlers the ability to control the lane early and then unleash a more aggressive motion when it’s time to strike.
